I've had one of these for a while now. Haven't used it much, but did test it out.
A guy over on Pirate4x4 is selling 1.75" dies along with a better shaft/screws.
There are a few cool pics of what people are doing with them over there.

They say 3 phase is smoother than single phase for a given machine.
There is a 350P on single phase and Lincoln Mig on 3 Phase at a place I do side work, and the Lincoln is much smoother.

Not bad.
My OPINION, and I could be wrong:
I wouldn't put my shop rates on there. Yours are too low anyway.
I wouldn't offer a FREE design service. This is worth more than welding services in many respects.
There are probably many cases...

Thanks,
I'd like to motorize it but probably won't. Unless I get a bunch of beadrolling work, which I don't see happening.

Bead Roller, Modified HF
Bought a HF Bead Roller a few months ago, and finally got around to beefing it up.
If you know anything about these, they are just about worthless in the 'stock' form...you have to consider it a bead roller kit.
I used 3/8x2 flat stock, some scrap, and a 2" tube so...

I do some side work at a place with a 350P. All production welding. I use it for 18ga stampings. Very much overkill for that.
It's a very nice machine.
Keep in mind you'll need different gasses if you want to spray and/or pulse.
Pulse is only good for 11ga...

Not totally finished. I have to put the trailer back together after I do a closer inspection of the welds, but here are the pics.
I'm going to go over a few spots (starts and stops, mainly) with the tig.
Panels were a bit thicker than .080, which is a good thing, but that's...

Here are a few pics of the damage and started repair.
Had to get the rear in the air and stabilized, removed the 'runners' on the trailer, measured a few times for the cuts and then cut them out with an angle grinder, which was noisy but pretty fast.
I'm having the aluminum...

Overlapping is fine by me, if that's the way it's done.
I'm sure it's stronger. I was worried about the "Hydrodynamics" of the boat.
I'll see when I get into it.
Thanks to all.

FusionKing: It's a Riveria Cruiser. That's all the info I have now.
KBar: It's out of the water most of the time, and has never been in saltwater. I did hear water sloshing inside when he pulled up with it though
C Wagner: I wondered the same thing. I may...

Foam inside the tubes will definitely suck. I hope that's not the case.
Don't know the model or year off-hand, but it's a 28' long with 24" diameter pontoons.
I'll try to take pics of the repair.

Pontoon Boat Repair Questions.
Got a job repairing a pontoon boat. It's coming Monday.
I've repaired and modded a few pontoons but this time I will be cutting out bad/crushed sections of the pontoons and welding new sections in.
I plan to plasma cut the bad out and have 1/8" aluminum patch panels...

Nothing to brag about, but I can see how it will be pretty easy with practice (and a Dynasty).
Scuffed up the ends of the cans, but I could hear the Coke boiling inside. Also, whatever is burning off the cans is pretty strong...got a little buzz.
3/32 Tungsten...
