Here is a link to the Hossfeld website..... http://www.hossfeldbender.com/products/index.php
They have brochures on all their products but only prices for benders and packages. They also have a dealer locator.
Don't expect any great deals on genuine Hossfeld items, they...

Put me in the Dynasty camp. The Syncrowave will do the job, and was the workhorse of Miller's tig line for a long time. But the Dynasty is the next generation. If you are going to get serious about welding for motorsports applications, which it sounds like if you are going to weld your own chassis,...

Sorry about that lars66. I screwed up the Lincoln numbers, used reqirements instead of test figures. I corrected them in my original post.
I have seen 71M, and Esab 7100, both used successfully in these, and other, high stress applications. But, I have also seen them fail where the TM...

Tri-Mark TM-771 It will give you impacts values over double what 71M or Esab 7100 offer, plus it will meet low diffusable hydrogen limits. Here is a link to their wire catalog. http://www.hobartbrothers.com/pdf/su...arkCatalog.pdf
If you can't find Tri-Mark, I believe that Esab's...

Pure Argon can;t go bad in the cylinder. If the gas worked for the first 800 pounds, it is the same gas.If the tank has 1200 psi left in it, you would have to hook something to it with higher pressure to contaminate it, plain and simple. Trust me, I filled, sold, and experimented, with welding gases...

Put my vote in for Smith. 100% American, unsurpassed quality, best warranty in the business, and a tip mix design for safety. Add to that the Dual Guard torch design in the better torches and you have the safest torch on the market.

If your local welding supply doesn't handle Goss tips, ask them if the have American Torch Tip tips.

If they don't have either, find a new distributor.

I think you'll be much happier if you stick to your original choice. Nothing wrong with the 375, it's just on the small side. You'll find a lot more uses for the larger machine, and it is still plenty portable....

Yep, it can be sprayed on very thin. It typically uses wire 3/32" - 1/8" and is capable of covering a pretty large area when needed.
The set-ups that I have seen are pretty elaborate, and pricey. Not sure if they offer a smaller, less expensive, set-up.
For a...

It is not much different than what is being supplied today. I've seen then used with zinc wire for corrosion proof coating, aluminum for reflective coating and bronze for a coating that is corrosion resistant with some natural lubricating quality.
The last place that I sold gas to used...

The Millermatic 35 was, and still is, a good machine. If it is in good shape, it will still do a great job for you. It would pay to upgrade it to a newer style gun, if that hasn't already been done. Tweco makes an adaptor and you can put a tweco Mini-Mig gun on it, makes consumables cheap and easy to...

Just highlight, with your mouse, what you want deleted..... hit the delete button, and POOF!, it's gone. Or you can highlight it and hit the period button several times, ............ like I did. It seems to show that the shortened quote was extracted from a longer post. .........
