I tried several times and it even burst into flames. I kept heating and washing it and finally all the oil left and I was able to weld it. Quite...

Which hand for Torch/Feed?
I am just a home welder trying to get better at Tig, nothing critical. I am right handed and have been holding the torch in my right hand and feeding with my left. Sorry, I didn't realize there were several types of Nexgens. Mine is a W60-HSL100 and uses 2 Quarter size batteries. You can see their pockets in the top right corners of the inside view of the lense.
See Pic.
Thanks,

Nexgen Helmet Question
My Jackson Nexgen helmet came without a manual. Now I need to change the batteries. I can see where the two battery compartments are, but they are under glass and I can't figure how to access them without forcing something.
Can anyone send me the manual, instructions, or tell me how to do...

I've been wondering if anyone makes a waste oil heater for my shop. I've got plenty of used motor oil. I only need about 30,000btuh.
Does anyone have experience?

An alternative way:
Nice work.
But for a one-time job, I made a vise grip slide hammer puller without welding.
I just made a hook attachment to the slide hammer to grab the inside of the vg jaws.
Used it to pull a deep bearing shaft out of my Norton gearbox.
