the wide drawers are 'paper file ' drawers and are about 9x11. the smaller ones are regular parts drawers and are about 4" w x 12"...

They have a web page but no listings for hats.. but they...

I'm sure the customer is thinking "It is obvious that you should of made the tongue much stronger because you are supposed to anticipate the tool box being mounted there & the fact that it would be jack knifed & damaged."

BUT, Mig can toast you quite nicely also...
spent a nice afternoon welding up a field gate... single 20 section of 2" pipe welded to 2" upright with a diagonal brace about 15' long... didn't fuss with fit up much..just mig'd it all with multi passes. Just wanted it strong...

I can appreciate how you're feeling... especially with your type work...it's hard to do without good working fingers. BUT, I'm glad you still have them..they'll heal.
I had carpal tunnel surgury last wednesday..went well but have a bandage that looks like a tennis ball taped to the base...

and you're gonna do this in what amount of time ? 6 weeks ? a semester ?
frames are a little more complicated than just two rails and some cross members..how they are built depends on their use, type of suspension that they support, stresses they will be subjected to due to torque.....
