melted qiuck disconnect
Melted my quick disconnect on the ground side friday and have no idea why.
Was running LN 25 off a ranger 305 24 volts 50ft of 2/0 cable with 2ft pig tail on ground 300 amp clamp melted the rubber right off the disconnect on the pig tail side. Any ideas?? Thanks

Just curious will your axles handle all these mods, your planning on making? Just wondering hate to build an elephant on a mouses back....

Well crap, ater all these years of thinking I was an Ironworker/welder i just found out Iam just a joe blow never knew you had to have card to be quailfied for somthing. Nothing against the unoin men or women have several friends that are. Thats what I like about this board learn somthing new everyday.Better...

I have a v 155-s seems to be a great little machine today was only its second day in the field but we ran it for 10 hrs 200ft from the power source running 3/32 7018's at 90amps and it never missed a beat.

Hey norm what I have found they seem to run better with a big gap some place for it to go. I'd try about 3/16 and run it around 125 maybe even 130 I welded a rip in one of those elevators that takes supplies up the outside of a building last week I actually ground a gap ran it about 125 on my ranger...
