Not sure of where he is from but I'm pretty sure if anything is re-worked it must be brought up to current code. I know this is true for electrical, and definately if it is a rental unit......
Thats pretty cool - must be an old barn board from grandpas place, huh? I know the old guy I bought my place from wanted some of the old barn boards to give to his grandkids and such....Good idea on the urethane!
Its a 14' boom I made that has (2) 220v outlets and (2) 110V outlets along with air for the plasma cutter. the bottom that the outlets are mounted on is suspended by a braided stainless cable....
Well, my opening wasn't big enough I finished welding everything on site. Thanks for the compliments and glad you enjoyed the pictures....
BTW - got 3 more to do in the spring. Work is starting to get in the way of my side work...
Fire extinguishers are a must no matter what. My shop is pretty good sized - 40 X 60 with 14' ceiling, and I dont weld or cut on anything before leaving. Even then I turn the lights off and look around in the dark to make sure theres nothing smoldering. Another good reason to have a clean shop
