This is my latest project, and it was actually my first paying gig. With a little luck this sort of stuff will fund my hobbies when I retire.
These are cut free hand with a 375 x treme in 16 ga mild steel.
Patterns were made the hard way, tracing the customers photo's with Ink...

Restaurant
I know it doesn't help the project much but I picked up a 60"x30" stainless prep table from a restaurant for 20 bucks. I travel around town alot for work so I always have my eyes peeled. I have also found them cheep at the restaurant supply stores in the used section....

I just thought I would post an update, its been three weeks and the repair is still holding up. We don't use them every day but its looking good.

I must admit I am one that thought carbon monoxide is what came out the exhaust. But it makes sense about the car having to be indoors for it to be high levels of carbon...

Thanks pops, I will do some more reading on the Kasenit. It sounds like pretty slick stuff even if not used for this application. I tried them out this morning on a piece of 900 pair copper cable and they did fine. That was only one cut tho, we will see how they hold up after a little more use.

I use my LWS if its something I think they can get in a reasonable amount of time. I wanted some walter stuff a while back so I just ordered it on line and had it in 4 days.
Air-Gas said they can order walter but thought it would take at least a week.

I tried 308L and did not like the way it was laying down, so I ended up filling it with 70S-2.
I don't have any copper cable here at the house so I will have to wait till tomorrow at work to test them out on a chunk of wire.

Here is where I'm at.
I made 4 passes to build the outside profile, rough ground with a regular old grinding wheel. Then went after the tooth profile with a diamond wheel. Its not perfect but I do think it will work if I can get a little bit of hardness in it.
