Turning the gas up too high can cause turbulence and allow contamination. Don't think that more is better and crank it up, because that could cause or contribute to your problem. 20 is probably fine, but 35 is too much.

So, you figure they gave up after 39 tries and just put diesel fuel in the can?
My can of WD-40 just says "contains petroleum distillates", like the cookie I had at lunch said "may contain peanuts or peanut oil". I'm not sure how that adds anything to the conversation....

I'd make that thing out of 1/2" plywood. You would be hard pressed to be as light by using any metal, and it would be tough and cheap. I would hinge the sides and ends and 2 or 3 ribs to support the span. You could have it fold in half also. It should weigh roughly what a single sheet (4x8)...

How much is that thing? The website says call for pricing. I have a hard time buying something that I have to work to get a price on. Usually when they hide the price is means it costs too much.

The Nascar cage, including the side bars, is about as safe as you can get in a race car. Yes, it is stronger and safer than "x" bars. The catch is that their cars weigh a ton. Actually, closer to 2 tons. Nascar makes everyone follow the same rule book for cages so they all weigh a lot....
