would there be any problems doing this ? not that i am going to do it, but i like to see the internals of things. and "maybe" i will see a potential problem. and perhaps clean it out. i don't think i have any warranty left on it.

100% isn't needed. just a good bead will do it. your not talking high psi here. i welded larger ports on my intercooler, and i didn't back purge. tight fitup goes a long way....

yes, money is money. but, the business end has TONS more of it. and thats where they are focusing, for tig machines. yes, they do focus on the hobby guy for 135ish and 180ish mig mashines, big market there. but for tig, the hobby market is small. miller even states that the d200dx is for industrial...

guys. its all about the money. they don't want to sell you 1 machine. they want to sell you 2. they want you to think 200amps is enough, and buy a 200dx. then come to find out it isn't enough, and then pony up for a 350dx. if they did a 275dx, that probably would be enough. and they wouldn't sell you...
