I got one in the shop right now with 6500 hrs on it. the breather gasket had been leaking by. I replaced both gasket and filter, fixed the problem.

TB 44G and WC-2 HELP

epoxy coat
I put down an epoxy paint when i did my shop. now it does not look like any more but it holds up great so far with cutting and welding sparks. gets a little slippery when wet though...

keg fire pit

By the way you are describing the way the chirping and buzzing going on are happening. Is that your control board is not knowing you are starting an arc and reacting to an increased load, might be an issue. Just to throw out there also. BDR can you read the actual voltage when you are starting an arc?...

your right other than blowing it out not much maintenance. The only other thing these machines need is to clean the brushes and the copper they come into contact with and thats about it and check the diodes from time to time. everyone i have talked like these machines for aluminum...
