do shop around, put one store up against another store.. last year i found a store here in town that would sell me the 211 for $922.00 and thought that was a good deal until i went to Airgas and checked their price. they had it for the same price but when i asked if they could beat it, the salesman...

here's my first project with my 211... a cart of course. i'm new at it too....

MM211 is the machine.. it is only has a three prong plug on it and so does the RV cord... it would be used exclusivly for the welder....

i have a new 25', 30 amp, RV shore cord not being used. if i made up adapters for the plug ends to fit my welder and wall outlet do you think this would be OK as an extension cord??

i'm not sure the price is actually really dropping.. when i went in there i told them i was shopping and was at their competitor across town, and they had it for $916.. so i asked if they could beat it, he looked in his books and said how about $877??? sold.. i called back the competitor and told...

another vote for the MM 211.... i had a small 110 volt that i had alot of trouble finding the sweet spot with, sold it and got the 211 and am now a happy camper... as for price i got mine at Airgas for $877.00..

how about an old office chair... they roll around, swivel, and recline. that's what i have in my shop when i don't feel like standing under the lift.

i just re-read your response and was thinking you said tank to the stand.. good idea about strapping the welder too... i did put down some anti-skid strips on the shelf, that keeps it from sliding around...

i just got the 211 about three weeks ago.... a great machine that makes me look alot better than i know i am.. try Airgas, i got mine there for $877

there is a metal strap at the top, bolted to the stand... if it falls over the whole cart will go with it......

well.... this is what i ended up with. I still may add to it as I find things i need. I did have to shorten the back support as it was in line with the plug...
