The Blue Lightening feature was added to the 350's and 700's at serial #LK37000L which was manufactured on 10/15/09.

I use 4TL (mini logic)Pulse and the adjustable EN/Ep all the time for the fabrication I do. 4TL is the main problem I have with the Dynasty It works most of the time when I use the pedal or when the tungsten is hot but as soon as it cools I need to touch the part i'm welding before it will strike...

Yes they did replace it with a new one that had the same HF issue that they agreed was unacceptable. Despite having several techs do tests and replace parts the issue persisted

I have had Miller try to fix the machine for nearly a year! They all agree that the starting is crap but can't work out why So now i'm going to replace it as i've had enough

Hi all, I have a dynasty 350 with a major HF starting issue and I want to replace it with a new Dynasty 350 that has “Blue Lightning”. I need to know what serial number was the start of the new machines as no one over here in Australia can tell me.

JakeSS, Next monday the machine goes back to Miller and I get my replacement.I the two electrial engineers from Miller couldn't fix it what hope do I have

From what I have managed to find out Miller know they have a rather large issue with the hf starting on the 200dx
I hope the issue I have is specific to my machine and doesn’t turn out to be an inherent design flaw with the type of HF hardware used in the 200 and 350

I am getting one directly from the states as they only order the 350 for sales not stock so there is none in the country to replace mine with.
I will post an update when I get the new machine and let you know if it's better....

Here's an update to my Dynasty 350 HF starting issues, Miller replaced the HF board then the HF coil and still I had to pre scratch the tungsten to get it to start most of the time. They have now decided to give up trying to fix the worlds most expensive scratch start machine and replace my Dynasty...
