Powcon pulser question
Cant find any info on the rc250p pulser control. One on ebay now and wonder if it would connect to my 300sm. Price is low enough that cant lose much and it could be pretty handy if it worked. My process would be pulsed mig. Saturday so Arc products cant help....

It does but at reduced output. will go to 375 on 3phase or 200 on single.

If three phase is available then I would jump on it in a hearbeat. I had one of those big bullet welders, 600a and it was amazing. Sounded like a turbine when running and had a wonderful arc. I wish I had 3 phase now for my powcon. Anyone run a powcon on a rotary converter?

Very nice, I can picture lots of effort to keep it square. My tables have been much simpler and managed to weld in distortion that required straightening.

look around for a powcon; sm200 often for 300 bucks or less and one of the finest power supplys around.

Me thinks that this thread also may have been started by a troll... Can't picture someone really trying for knowledge copping an attitude that quick.

I have a similar unit that wont idle down in weld mode. Solenoid works fine of course but what should I be testing on the idle board? Engine surges as well but welds ok and I get 120 volts out of generator.

I have built several solid axel trailers using Chrysler K car rear stub axels. They are very easy to use as the bolt on using a flat flange. IMHO small trailers dont need suspension. Built frame of 1.5x3" 1/8 wall tube, doubled the tube where axel welded and inset a backing bar tangent to a frame...
