Wish I had bought that unit instead of my Lincoln years ago. Learned my lesson though, and when I upgrade my Mig it will be Blue, same as my Tig.

This is the way we purge Medical gas lines when were putting them in. Works good as gold. On a side note though, you wouldn't need to have a closed box full of purge gas to do it the other way, so long as the air where your welding is reasonably still and not windy. Guys working on live gas lines weld...

Unfortunately most home owners ins wont cover anything they deem as work or business related. You have to get them to spell it out that they will cover auto parts, welders, tools, etc in your garage. They want ya to buy business ins.

I'm sure if they do sleep, its with some messed up...
