I keep a large roll of .045 dual shield in my MM251 and use the spool gun when I need smaller wire. I was just using it yesterday with .035 S6 steel wire on a little project. Sure the small rolls of wire are more expensive, but sure are convenient.

No, not the one I was looking for. The one I wanted got pretty technical about generator output. I also remember the Miller tech that posted said how he was suprised how knowledgeable the members posting here were.

Trying to find a thread
I remember reading a thread where someone asked about running a MM210 or MM251 off a Bobcat or Trailblazer. There was a pretty in depth discussion about it and even a post from someone from Miller. I cannot find the thread now and have used the search feature.
Can someone link me to...

How about Acetylene bombs?
Acetylene will explode under compression at 14.5 psi (100 kPa). I haven't done this, but heard that if you put acetylene in a balloon, tie it shut, fasten a weight, and drop it in water; it will explode. It will have to sink to a depth of about 33.5 feet before...

Silverback,
Thanks for the plans. Look great, give me lots of ideas for my project. I'm trying to find a high flow hydraulic pump for some bigger cylinders. I think somewhere like 3.5 - 5 GPM. I might look at some hydrualic lift gate pumps. I'll also check those links in the info...

Silverback,
Would you mind e-mailing me a set of plans? I've been wanting to make a dumpbed trailer for sometime now. A set of plans would help me out a lot. [email protected]
Thanks

I had Alaska Steel price out the materials list for a 25' boat ($13,000) and a 28' boat($14,000) prices FOB Fairbanks. Kind of a no brainer in my boat3' extra for only $1,000.

arcalaska,
Got your first message and the one you sent today. Thanks, it seems if I was checking the wrong e-mail address. I'll look into them. Looks like they also do CNC cutting. I wonder if Uscola used them for any of his boats?

arcalaska,
Sorry to ask again, but I was wondering where did you get your plans? I have been looking at some plans from Specialty Marine for 25' and 28' boats, and was wondering about the quality of the plans. I am also thinking of making a driftboat first and may purchase the driftboat...

Glad I read this because I was thinking of purchasing a Trailblazer 302 for the occasional field job (stick or TIG) and powering my MM251 off in my remote shop (only has 30 Amp 240V service).

Congrats,
I got one also for Christmas from the wife. I won't be able to give it a try for a couple of weeks though. I can't wait.

Where to buy Rex-Cut Sigma products
Where is the best place to purchase a some Sigma grinding wheels to try. None of my local supply houses carry them and want me to order a whole case. Is it best just to order from the manufactures website or is there an internet dealer that has better...

First of all, I'd like to say my favorite Miller service is the Ask Andy forum. The new Miller Projects forum is also becoming a favorite of mine.
My favorite Miller product is my MM251 with the 30A spoolgun. The machine is awesome with plenty of power to handle all my projects. The...

Rocky D,
I like the Welding Finger. What the best way to make the weight block? A solid block may be difficult to find. Make a box out of thin plate material and fill with something heavy? Thanks.
