welding procedure?

is the iron workers all strucural steel or will they do some pipe work?

i live alittle north of dayton and they do make them in lima ohio people from the company came into HIWT when i was there they have a 6 week training program before they will even let you actually work or the tanks or any vehicles there

trust me the weld techs. at my work are dumb they need a cwi who truely knows what he's talking about at my work

the machines we have are millermatic 300 and 350's and a couple cp302 and detaweld 302's

3/16th thick sometimes 1/8th thick armor and sheet metal all positions flat horizontal overhead vertical

so get this my work has set our welding procedure for CV mig at 15.3 to 18.7 volts and a wfs at 400-450ipm on carbon steel
this is terribly wrong idk how they came up with this
