How old are the kids and how much do you want to spend. Are you building it your self from scratch or assembling a purchased kit. I built one from scratch for my kids but did the kit for my grand daughter. Both were done on top of turf/real grass, no one ever broke a bone. I think you could build the...

I put stops on the top of the cart so it has solid stops for 0 degrees and 45 degrees we also drilled and tapped holes so you can bolt the saw in place at both angles. Didn't mention earlier there are slots on the bottom side of the slides with bolts in them so the sliders won't come out and I put UHMW...

With no extra support I can put 70 lbs. on the very end and all four wheels stay on the floor. Total stick out is about 6' from the blade. That color is WRONG is is supposed several shades darker. Got a bad batch of powder. We affectionately refer to it as Barney Purple.

    New chop saw cart/table

Got one those fancy new metal cutting chop saws. Man this think works awesome. Well I don't want to use it on the floor so we made a mobile table for it, since it will travel all around the building. The saw has 2 positions 90 and 45, with stops to locate it. and fold up material supports to help hold...

Here in SoCal a lot of schools and businesses are putting solar covers over their parking lots. Gives the cars shade and power for the business. Don't know the numbers but it's great for putting your car under on hot summer days. Where I work Edison and the city talked to the owner they claim if he...

I used to call MCM so much I had them on speed dial (remember speed dial). I got a different person on the phone almost every time. So I asked how many people they had answering phones the lady told they had 120 operators. That was in 1998. I work about an hour from their warehouse, if I order before...

I live in a tract home here in sunny southern calif. I fly old glory in front of my house 24/7 with a bright light on her at night. I am happy to say from my front porch I can see 6 more flying proud. It's a sad thing that that sentiment is not shared by all that call this country home....

Got my second material rack back from the powdercoater. Got it in place and added some clamp racks to the roller for the cold saw. Painteded it up all nice. Looks like a brand new shop.
