    dedicated machines for eatch process seems prb like the best idea just will get one at a time first thing though i think ill do is get the 211 to replace my hobart 140 the miller is lighter and can be used on 220 and 110... can do thicker materail how is that auto set featuer?...

    well i am a hobby metal art person im not building big metal buildings.. might repair some metal lawn funiture or something..

    might just get the 211 and like an eastwood tig machine lol

    prob whouldnt be a bad idea over time just to get a machine one of eatch tig mig...

    i have had plans since i seen the 211 to get it.. but curiours about the 215 as well so i may just continue on saving for it.. ive got two circuts i use for my machines i also have a hypertherm powermax 30 plasma cutter .. i have a 110 breaker an a 220 breaker ... i dont even have a stick machine...

    so after the first of the year im looking to upgrade to a different welder i currently have a hobart ez handler
    the welders i am looking at are the 211 and the 215 multi process unit ..
    the 211 i can get local for 1340 and the 215 with the accessories i can get for 2045 before tax at AirGas...

    i have always wanted to try tig welding i think it is interesting .. but on the note of the 211 machine i sure think its a nice little welder i hope i can get one after the 1st of the year sometime...

    i have a hobart ez handler 140 its a good welder but i like the weight of the 211... so how are miller multi process machines im wanting to get into tig welding sooner or later should also be good for metal art

    i have not tried any of the two machines that i have discussed now with my Hobart 12ci i use the little copper stand off adapter..
    the cuts are not very clean usualy have to do some grinding even on 16 guage sheet metal im wanting to upgrade machines

    and thinking eaither...

    yeah im just wondering how detailed of a cut a person can get with the xp air

    may see if i can try out the xp 30 and see how my compressor likes it
    then if it dont work out for me take it and get the air..

    good thing about it is i can get both machines local...

    thanks for the tip yeah i have a grinder but be nice to have bunch of slag built up i may get the 30 an try it out if all else fails i can get a bigger compressor later on i dont cut pieces out no bigger than 24 inch x 24 inch then i make my designs in the sheet steel...

    well i sure like the fact about the fine cut consumables with the XP..
    may get it an run my compressor it puts out right about 5.9 cfm at 90 psi..
    not sure yet though


    i cut stuff thats about 14 guage maybe the XP Air will cut that
    without a bunch of...

    i do small metal art tatterd flags etc..
    i think this machine will be just what i need

    but i was wondering can a person get fine cut consumeables
    like they can the 30 xp i know the torches are different
