I used to have that same unit. It is a brother to the much loved MM200.
I rigged a 10-A feeder to mine. Since it had the same inductance as a MM200..... I ran mine on steel with straight CO2 and loved it.
After I purchased my 350P I gave it to a friend for his projects. It was all free....

There are several brands that do put a plug at the top with no drain.
Several trains of thought are going on at the same time in the pontoon world....

The water would plow freely but would "glug" while doing so as pressure was effecting the difference between the chambers.
It really works well as long as the brackets don't break loose and crack the tops. Then it can only fill the chambers that have holes in the tops.

If you drill the baffles at the bottoms it won't sink unless there is a hole at the top of that section. That is how boat lifts actually function.
A couple of companies drill at the top. That's how the titanic sank!!
If you want to pressure check for leaks (on yours) you have to do each...

Willvis,
I am truly impressed!! That is some really nice work!!
What you have done is make a log that very closely resembles Aloha made in Arkansas, Both in the nosecone and the multiple sections. Check out their stuff.

Merely disconnecting the battery doesn't do beans on hardly anything when I comes to protecting computers. Think about all the late model welding trucks that guys have their welding machine mounted on. Many weld right on the bed every day for a work/welding table. You could even stop and freak out...

The ground has to be attached to the same part you are welding on. If welding on your frame then hook your ground to the frame. If welding on exhaust then hook ground to exhaust and so forth.
If you hook your ground to the frame and weld something that is rubber mounted instead the current will...

They just lay it (the insulation blanket) on the building frame and then screw through it when they attach the sheet metal.
If you poke a hole, or series of holes, the water can run out if there is any. If you get water, then you can carefully cut slits and then repair using shrink wrap tape....

I have always been a fan of acetylene.
I don't really care for how plasma cuts on aluminum. I really don't do much steel either. In fact when I do something out of steel it is for myself at least 90% of the time. Or it's for someone close like a friend or relative. Either way it's cheap or free....
