Help Dynasty 300 DX
I moved the machine from California to Texas in a U-Haul. It was working fine before the move & now it will not give me full amps in TIG mode. I have it set to 300 amps but will only give me 90 amps, if I set it to stick mode it gives me the full 300 amps. I have checked the foot pedal from my 300...

Dynasty 350/400, 700/800 cover
I have brought this up before so I'm going to bring it up again. If anyone from Miller reads these we would like to have nice miller covers for our Bigger Dynasties. You offer a nice cover for just about everything else. I understand these machines were not aimed at individual owners or home hobbiest....

Had flatbed installed on my truck - really poor welding
As the title says, I paid to have a flatbed "professionally" installed on my truck. The installer is actually a mobile welder as well. Look at these welds. I could do better and I am a hack.
My concern is that I am hauling a 17,000 lb gooseneck trailer and it is counting on welds...2 Photos

Miller 35 shutting off
Hi
I have an old Miller 35 that will shut off as you are welding. It's like you pulled the plug kind of dead. Oddly enough if I lift it by one corner any corner it will come back to life. If I shim one of the wheels to lift the corner it will run without issue. The power cord seems to be fine...

MM 350p
So I let a buddy borrow my 350p for a quick job. He noticed it made a little buzzing noise from the contactor which I new about just had not got around to replacing or cleaning it. He decided to replace it to thank me for the use. Well I'm certain its not wired correctly. It comes on as normal, everything...

Thoughts on Gas Shielded vs Inner Shield / Flux Core Wires (MIG Process)
Did some (1/8" - 1/4") testing yesterday with my (very forgiving) MM 211 (luv that machine BTW) and noticed that the Inner Shield / Flux Core wires/welds produced considerably more splatter, tons more smoke, weren't as "pretty" (I use combination of cursive Vs, Es, Us -- push and...

Miller Pipe Pro 304 / S-74D wire Feed Combo Burn Back Issue
I have a Miller Pipe Pro 304 and a S-75D wire feeder that I am trying to get to work together. I can get it to weld pretty nice but then it seems no matter what I do when I release the trigger it pops back and melts the tip. I've tried different wire feeds (150-250), voltages (19-24), dig settings....Last edited by pdeal; 01-18-2021, 06:03 PM.
