  • Update on new machine

The folks finally got power restored a couple days ago, so I am going up there this weekend if the weather permits to pick up my Trailblazer so I'll let you guys know after I burn some rod (my favorite thing to do)!!

      Trailblazer story

I was taking my new trailblazer to work this morning so I could work on the trailer a little more and I had gotten about 8 miles down the road when I turned on to a busier road and noticed my left wheel was a little wobbly-lookin. I pulled over to check it out (I'm still paranoid about my baby) and found out every wheel bolt was missing and the only thing holding the wheel on was the grease fitting! I called a buddy from work to bring a jack and some tools and it's safely sitting in the hangar while I completely go through the rest of the trailer. My wife called the insurance company to make sure it's covered

Get some 7018's and play with the dig settings. Very slick. You will like it...I sure did. My TB made burning rods fun again.

We got our TB last year and I am still in love with it! Our old reliable bobcat is still a very good unit, but as the TB is SO SWEET the old bc has - as SSS has mentioned - been given a new assignment as stand-by power. Even 7010 Hyp+s run as if from an electric glue gun with the TB. I think bbfarm will never regret that purchase (although his folks might have to by a wood stove for future outages!)

you guys really need to stop all this talk about the TBs. I was all happy with my little bobcat for several years, but now I'm getting that dang itch for that new welder smell again.....

Here's a couple pics from the back up power set up we have. The manual transfer switch feeds a smaller distribution panel that has stuff like the heater, fridg, well, and a few lights. The bad stuff is supposed to hit tonight. 1-2" of ice. Snow and sleet is one thing, ice is what brings the lines down!

              Gage OK

bbfarm, I was through your city a week ago heading to Woodward as we passed through the town of Gage I noticed a lot of metal art there. Have you ever had the chance to look it over? I wish we had not been in a hurry and wish I would of had my camera with me, I would have liked to have stopped and looked some of it over and taken some photos of it.
