Adding Third Arm to Bird Feeder

My wife decided that she needed one more feeder, so I converted a two-arm bird feeder pole to a three-arm pole. The larger birds and the Oriels are hesitant to go to the feeder closer to the house. They are more comfortable using a feeder further from the house. Here is a picture of the original two-arm pole:

I set the Fireball adjustable square to 120⁰, so that the arms would be equally spaced. The bird feeder pole is only ½” so it is kind of wimpy. Keeping the feeders equally spaced and close to the pole minimized the unbalance force on the pole.

I MIG welded the ½” bars using the 3/8” default setting on the welder.

      Ryan,

Sorry, I’ll get right on it.
