  • advice planning "pitchfork for tractor to collect shoots twigs "

hi, excuse me if I disturb, I do not know if I can disturb you and ask maybe I should contact a technician or an engineer, a friend of mine from the village asked me to build a pitchfork rake to collect vine shoots for his old tractor to be positioned as a sort of loader in the back of his old tractor. in essence it would be a device of an accessory to be hooked back to his tractor, which would serve him to collect twigs "sarmenti", which are generated after pruning the residues of vegetable pruning. I do not know if I am capable of making this tool for him, maybe I attach some videos to better explain what tool and what job it should be used for thanks I await suggestions, what do you call this agricultural tool ''?

Rear carrier. The last vid is a root rake which is different than a rear carrier

the biggest problem would be to size the structure without it being too weak or too heavy, in your part what is this tool called, maybe you could attach some similar homemade tool to me, I have to find the system to attach it to the rear attachments firmly, it must be disassembled unhook when not needed, we make it in profiled or boxed tubular, I have many doubts.

Google rear cargo carriers for trucks. Same principle just adapt to your tractor

Mine is here someplace. Hasn't been used in years. In the old days I made Maple syrup. I built a carryall for 3 point hitch. Mine was of 3" x 1/4" angle. A simple frame for three point hitch, the pins for lower arms were at height for it to sit on the ground when the hitch was lowered. Top crossbar had two "ears" top link coupled with. \

The "forks" were oriented so I could use a 1/4" thick floor. I'd put two 55 gallon plastic barrels on to carry sap. 2 wheel drive tractor, I'd have two barrels in the rear, one in the loader bucket. With tire chains it'd climb steep hills on frozen ground easily.

You could also add a grapple to it to keep the stuff from falling off.

thanks your precious advice I will try to make it and to align and converge the coupling points to the tractor so that the rake fork is aligned and works flat at least I'll try thanks.
