  • Broken door knocker

A buddy asked if i could fix one of his girlfriends knockers. Then he pulled it out of a bag and asked if I thought it was fixable. Told him I'd give it a try but no guarantees. I thought silicon bronze at first but didn't have any so welded it up with ER70S2. Welded better than I expected. Then I tried to drill the hole for the screw. Wiped out 2 drill bits and only made a slight dent. Plan 'B' cut a groove to fit the screw and put a weld over the top. Came out nice a little clean up grinding. DONE hope it lasts.

No money, just the pleasure of playing with one of her knockers. Just helping out a buddy.

I have never seen anything like this. How did she break it? She has to be pretty strong to do that.
From the description, I see you had a headache fixing it. Next time, all these issues can easily be fixed by locksmiths. For instance, locksmith finsbury has skilled workers ready to work 24/7. A few companies on the market offer such high-quality services. The prices depend on the services which the workers provide. However, all the time I call them, they charge me decently.
