Welder extension cord

I have a new Miller 175 mig welder which has a male nema 6.50 plug. I want to plug it into my old Miller 225 amp stick welder outlet which is a female nema 10-50. I have a male 10-50 plug and am looking for a short cord ( 4-6') with one end a female nema 6.50 connector that is of appropriate wire size ......? 8 guage
3 conductor. My breaker is a 70 amp breaker. Any idea where I might locate such a cord? Thanks for your help!

I bought some 8 ga SO 3 conductor wire, and the appropriate connectors and made my own extension cable. It's about 75 feet long. I use it on my Millermatic 210 welder.

You will not be able to purchase a cord with a 10-50 connector. The 10-50 connector is no longer supported by the National Electrical Code for welding. The connectors use today for welding equipment (6-50) have a dedicated safety ground. The ground pin in the 10-50 is a neutral connection, not a safety ground, and therefore does not meet the NEC requirement for welders. Check out the link below for a little more on this topic.
