  • 60' Pipe piles for dock

    Here is a little job going on at work, there is a wharf that needs some floating docks. There is going to be 4 60 foot piles but we could only get 3 60' pile so we have to splice. Were are using conical points with this 16 '' pipe.

    The first picture is a rig we made to pull the piles together, I put in a piece of threaded rod for an example. The second picture is the prep for the point, we also have to grind the seam so it will fit in.
