  • Stainless tig work

    I do several of these a year. 1.5" square x 16 gauge tube. All tigged 1/16 tungsten & 1/16 wire.

        I don't think so u would be drilling and plugging holes to purge this.

            These are some kind of wash cart for very expensive equipment. Parts are held on by brackets I guess, then rolled over to a wash bay & cleaned. No purge. Always thinking about warpage. I build/weld the bottom & top shelves first seperately, straighten and square up as needed. They have mitered corners. Tack them together with the corner uprights making sure it's square. Add the middle shelf tubes, then finish weld them. No miters there, just butt welded. Lastly I check for flat & square again. Usually pretty square but the top and/or bottom shelves bow inward so I clamp it to my table using shims to bow it back.
