Thank you. A bri-mar that I was looking at the local heavy equipment show was a little over 2 times more expensive for the same idea. I had full intentions of buying one there but the salesman blew me off for asking some questions. So I I figured to build one instead and keep the money in my own pocket.

Man, I'd be writing a letter to his boss to thank him!

I seriously laughed out loud there, I never thought of that but they just lost a sale and any extras so that's good enough for me. On the other hand next time I'm down I might go in and get something little like lug nuts or something and just make a few jabs at what a nice trailer that could have sold me.

I'm honestly surprised they aren't more expensive to than that.

IIRC the price was around 7200 plus tax with no options.

How much did it weigh finished, you can figure you're is probably made much better as well. Nice. I need to build one one of these days as well but I think I want to make a gooseneck. That way no one will ask to borrow it

                          5'' channel 435.5 lbs
                          3'' channel 123 lbs
                          sheet of 5x10 3/16 383 lbs
                          4'' channel 54 lbs
                          sheet of 6x12 1/8 367 lbs
                          2x2x1/8 square tubing 75 lbs

With the tank, cylinder, etc I figure around 1900 lbs at the max. Gooseneck would be nice but I just tell people who want to borrow it that it need $150 deposit and like magic I never hear of it again.
