  • Dual Smoker on Tandem Trailer Build

Guys, I am new to the site but thought I'd break in with a thread on my latest project. It is a tandem torsion axle trailer with dual sided smoker.

Customer asked that exhaust be able to fold so he could store it under his shed. I also added the piece of plate seen in the pic to keep critters out when not in use.

Both exhaust stacks stowed for travel or storage.

Shot of the cooler rack. Top rail is round for easy tie down.

Both sides have stationary lower racks (removable for cleaning) and slide out upper sausage and chicken racks (also removable).

Firebox doors. The fireboxes are a full propane tank cut in half. They are then lined with a 24" casing 1/2" wall thickness for insulation.

Both fireboxes have charcoal baskets in case the cook doesn't want to finish with wood. They are also handy for pre-warming the pit and will burn all night long.

Had to try it out before the new owner took delivery.
