  • Coin Banks made from old Freon tanks

Built these here while back. Still need to paint them but it's been too cold. Plan on building several more for gifts and maybe a few to sell. Also have some other ideas of projects to build with the mountain of tanks I have accumulated over the last several months. The city dump is not supposed to take these but my friend who runs it lets all the local heating and air guys drop them off there cause he knows I will come by and pick them up. Thanks, the pig was actually one of the first projects I built when I started welding in high school. Shop teacher came across a bunch of tanks and made each one of us students build one. We later auctioned them off for a fundraiser at the FFA banquet end of that year.

If you are near southern Nevada, I can give you at least a half-dozen per year. As long as they are empty, they pick them up with my curbside trash.

Thanks for the offer...too bad I'm in Oklahoma lol. I can't believe they will pick them up with your curbside trash. We just moved and I took a box of broken down by boxes out and set beside our trash cans. For three weeks in a row they emptied the trash cans but left the boxes I finally took them out to the farm and burned em the other day
