    Here we are welding a 3" 90 to a 3" 45. We tacked the 90 to the fixture, just finished the root pass, ready for the cover. With the wheel this weld takes about 4 minutes.

    Clamp on suitable fixtures , then tack weld and later weld

    Here are some pics of an actual part. 1 1/2" pipe sch 10 elbow tacked to stub end with flange, bolted to fixture.

    Yes, when it's the end of a pipe. If there a flange you can bolt it on. Those plates were bolted up for a different part that was clamped on. The rails that plate is bolted on will fit 1 1/2" flange thru 6" flange easy. That's as big as we go. I just need to mount a motor to it and it would be AWESOME, and cheaper the a rotary positioner.

    You have to tack weld to that base each time? That's a pretty cool setup. Maybe build a clamping mechanism for it?
