welding lead rack, made this to take the leads off the stand that the Miller 250 Dialarc is on to install a tool box below it and close it in with shelving, that is it in the left side of the photo with the angle iron, split two car rims and one lawnmower rim (to hold extension cards) easier to them for a longer distance, someday I will get the shop organized, probably not.

I'm trying to figure out the photo (if you get a picture of it after the paint hardens up and you have the leads draped over it, that would help). So you will have one big long welding lead and similar ground lead draped over the two upper rims, and two extension cords, one over each of the smaller rims?
I'm glad to see this project, need to do something along these lines. Mine will have to be on big wheels, because I need to carry long heavy cords out over rough/soft ground so I can weld on stuff a good distance from the power supply. I'm getting old and weak enough that I don't want to lug them very far by hand. Plus, maybe I can figure a way to secure them (to some extent) against the thieving creeps that abound here.

You could set them in the middle of a mine field surrounded by a mote filled with deadly electric man-eating eels. Just a thought.

Looks like it could have a place. As a side note I often see carts with the power rolled up on them and it is often way easer and more convenient to hang the cord on the wall instead of the cart.

DCEP for sure.... that's direct current eel positive.

Here is the pic with the leads on the rack, the closed in area of my shop is 90' long easier to roll the lead on this rather than pull them, making some changes on the kart that holds the Miller 250 Dialarc when done with that will post pics, have a great week and Happy Thanksgiving, Kids coming hope I survive, when the togetherness gets to be to much I will slip to the shop, I am bad, Joe

Sorry Ryan, no eels, Old Jupiter, I think there is 100 on the hot and maybe the same on the ground not sure, I bought several of those blue ones here while back from a fellow they are 50' with the connections on the ends, got them for $50.00 I got six of them, really though that was a good buy considering what they get for the blue ones and the connections, I have a pig tail on the machine for both of them so I can disconnect and move both the machine and the leads, you welcome, happy Thanksgiving 2U, Joe
