  • Hand winch for trailer

Put this on a guys trailer. Trailer is a 6' x 12' tilt deck that he uses for anything that will fit. He bought this winch after having to push up a non-op ride on mower by himself. Had to put it up high due to the handle & he wanted it removable. 2.5" square tube for the receiver & 2" square tube for winch end. Same as a trailer receiver.

I have a neighbor that buys, fixes and sells lawn mowers...and he needs that exact thing done to his trailer. I'm gonna help him out. Thanks for the inspiration.

Nice job that is going to be real handy and not only removable replaceable with another item in there, just got me a 12 volt 2,500 pound winch at a yard sale, its got the cable with the forward reverse switch, got it for ten dollars fellow said it did not work, loose connection, I love those kind of people, got to put one of those on my 16' trailer, thanks for sharing.

something else you can do is weld a few to the sides of the trailer . I seen a few done at a atv rally and they worked great. instead of having rope or cable on them they put some straps.you'll never have to pook for binders or have to untangle your ratchet straps again. forgot one thing you have to remove the handles and when your binding something down just turn the drum by hand til it's snug then put the handle on it to tighten it down the rest of the way then take the handle off and put it in a tool box if you don't have a tool box then just leave it on one of the winchs,

I'm sure you knew this, but if height is a concern, they do make top wind worm drive hand winches. But that looks really good as it is.
