  • mm210 and Spool gun it is! GOOD Choice??

I made a choice I beleive Im going with a mm 210 and spool gun set up. Does this seam wise I do a lot of body work and very little work over 3/8 inch and now I will be able to get into some aluminum. Any feed back from owners using this set up would be appreciated! Can the 210 do 3/8 all day if needed? Is this aluminum set up pretty Good? With no good looks at a 210 do you know is there actually extra gas hook ups in the rear or do I have to re hook all the time. Thanks guys!!

That setup can do a good job on 3/8" aluminum, there is a hookup for both C25/CO2 and Argon tanks, it is plug and play you just need to turn on the gas you want and pull whichever trigger you want to use. The only drawback is that you won't be able to do any aluminum much under 14ga. The MM210 will also do a nice job on 22 ga MS sheetmetal using C25 gas.

To do 3/8" all day is a long time to keep the trigger down, somethings gonna melt. Now to do 3/8" on and off over a few hours , yes with a little break for you and your machine. Always remember to give the machines a little rest and cool down...Bob

Yep, Bob's right the 210/3035 combo, it is not a production machine where parts are given to you ready to weld and you just do that all day, but for a small shop where you have to cut, clean, measure, fabricate before welding ... and you plan the welding work out, the 210/3035 can work quite nicely, IMO. Just watch the duty cycle is all ...
