active projects. We have projects in Louisiana,Texas, and Kansas. We
are looking for qualified Stick, Tig, Pipe welders, Pipefitters, and
Fitter helpers. Our projects are paying from $19.50 to $20.35

There is a lot of on-site welding/mechanical work out there. It seems that this is a temp agency so the pay is a little lower. It's a great gig for people who like to work and travel.

I do it myself. No temp agency. Right now I just finished a repair job on some steam turbine diaphragms in Muscle Shoals AL. I'm leaving soon for Mexico to install 2 rows of buckets on a steam rotor. I've been to quite a few places in the states and even went to Manous Brazil. There is a good amount of work out there. I have my own shop in Ct, when I get slow I make a few call and try to line stuff up.

I would tell anyone who's thinking about it to do it. You meet a lot of good people and learn a ton more than at a regular job. You even get free flight, hotel, car, and food money. The only down side is being away from home. The fat pay check eases that. Nothing like a 12-7 paycheck. I logged 52 hrs in 4 days at this job.
