  • Gehl Look-a-like

I built this for my brother-in-law in 2009. Sure doesn't look as pretty today LOL! But he still uses it, it's his favorite solid manure spreader. This thing grosses about 70-80,000 lbs. when it is full of sand laden slurry. It holds approx. 4200 gal if you could fill it level full of liquid. After painting we put on the Gehl decals because we used Gehl drivetrain in the front. It is 133 percent larger than what Gehl ever made. The angle of the sides also match the Gehl spreaders. However, as a whole the spreader is a totally new prototype design including the undercarriage and suspension system.

Very professional! You should put your name on it and start mass producing them!

Thanks for the kind remarks! I seriously talked about building more of them but I built it in my in-law's 30x40' shop! At the time I didn't have the room or the money to do it! I was also only 24 so was just happy that this turned out so well!
