I have a polaris atv with a flat back rack (picture attached). The rack on the back is flat and plastic and I would like to build something with sides and also holder's for tposts that is removable. I don't want to remove the original plastic rack because I have a sprayer that hooks to it. Does any body have any ideas for a simple metal back rack which hooks to the original rack somehow, but has sides and a posts at each corner to hold tposts and/or strap something to. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you so much

would be a quick and simple solution...
They are pretty inexpensive and come in both steel and aluminum..

those hitch racks are nice but a 4 wheeler might ride a wheelie if you put any kinda wieght on it.if you go with the hitch rack yu might wanna throw a sand bag or two on the front rack to keep your wheels on the ground.
as for as the rear rack why not take the plastic one off and make a metal one then put the holes in it for the sprayer that way you'll have a dual purpose rack that will still fit any polaris attachments . if i'm right those polaris attachments work sorta like a boat plug if so just get a piece of pipe and use that as the holes and they should work great.i made a rack for a polaris ranger one time the rack fitted into the holes on the side of the bed we used some rubber pads we cut and stacked them on a bolt and when we tightened up the bolt it squeazed the rubber pads and widened out to grab inside the holes on the bed.

You could always cut off and remove the hitch tube then make the mounting points behind the seat...where the factory did it... that is where I was headed in the begining...
That is the beauty of being able to weld and fabricate.....
you can configure it any way you want.....
