Hot Wheels

A friend of mine uses hot wheels cars to vacuum form slot car racing bodies. He asked if I could fill in the wheel wells on one of them and I was wondering what a good plan of attack would be. I've done a little bit of research and it seems most are cast from a zync and aluminum combination. I told him I would play around with it but made no promises. Does anyone have any ideas before I start? Thanks

Why not just use a filler of some sort, like bondo, or jb weld? Seems much easier that trying to work with the junk pot metal.
