What paint job is this?

I've seen this kind of paint job on many steel tubes. What it is and is it something you can paint in your garage?

Also called hammered finish. You can get it in aerosol and brush on cans. And yes you can do it in your garage, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or out in the yard even. Just where ever you feel like doing the painting.

I've heard it called Hammerite, and Hammertite.

Avail in powder coat also. But needs a clear finish to use outdoors...Bob
