    elvis,

The one I have measures 7 1/2" in diameter at the flat spot,
but there are different brands at my local kitchen supply store.

    ebay may be another source.
Miller Dynasty 350, Dynasty 210 DX, Hypertherm 1000, Thermal Arc GTSW400, Airco Heliwelder II, oxy-fuel setup, metal cutting bandsaw, air compressor, drill press, large first aid kit, etc.

Call me the "Clouseau" of welding !

Stainless steel... Domed.... Usually a $20 deposit at most distributors...

you would have to buy and drink the beer though....
I suspect you may not often buy keg beer.

My friend RIP would have if in a hurry made a multi faceted shallow cone on a sheet metal brake. If time allowed he would roll it by tightening his roller on one end. A lady I know uses a "planisher"? to hammer the dome shape. Will you weld it on, or will it sit on? It concerns me that warping is a problem with 304.

I can make a cone top, not a dome shape but rolled from sheet stock, or I'll give you the geometry to make a funnel shape like the bottom.

            Slow down Willie!

H80 is right. I just fill up my own kegs so I'm not buying kegs.

I will weld everything. It has to seal off completely for sanitary reasons and then hold 5psi pressure from co2 for transferring. Warping is a big consideration!

I can buy one for $600 and as much as I like to make stuff I'll just buy one.
