my welding table

I enjoy looking at everyones welding table design and thought I would share mine. 1 1/2' top machined flat. Sides are all machined to make square. The clovers were lasered out at the steel company. This is the best investment I've made right next to my miller!

Are you gonna use it ?? That top should be hangin on a wall ! Awesome ! That probably cost as much as a machine .

I use this daily now. That first little scratch was difficult but I couldn't afford to spend that money to just look at it..lol. Quite an uprade from the 4' x 4' table I was working on! I do a lot of large weldments that take up this whole top!

That sure is pretty but I have to ask why it looks wavy. When I first looked at the picture I thought was wavy until I read where you said it was flat. Are the clover shaped holes just for clamping things or are they clover shaped for a specific reason?

It must look wavy from the reflection of the machine passes. They only used a 5" tool in the machine to mill it down. And yes the clovers are only in there for clamping reasons. That's also why I went with such a thick plate. All the cutouts would make a thin top pretty weak when you have so much weight on it.

The top was around $1250 and that included all the clovers lasered out
