      Way cool cart!

      AWESOME!
Well done! It is obvious lots of thought went into the design and execution of that cart. Lots of attention to detail.
      I am inspired.

That is the coolest cart I have seen in a long while! Wish I had the time to build neat stuff like that but I just got another project here at school (trailer mounted smoker for one of the maintainence guys) and am behind on all my projects at work, maybe someday. Nice job and thanks for sharing.

Attention to detail, the squiggly black lines along the rail; cool.

How did you 'black' the ends of the exhaust? I'm copying that!!

          And a V8, too!!
Thanks all for your kind words on the cart. When it came to the design I had four designs in my head to do.

My original intent to purchase a new inverter was from a different company. There welder was a good bit larger but I had an awesome design in mind for that one but when I went with the Miller 200 DX I did it the way you see it here.

When it came to the exhaust I used my air brush to get the effect you see in the pictures. It was also used on the dash. My wife appreciated the comment about the tank cover so thanks for that also. The lines on the railing is just pin striping and made to look like barb wire.

I'm usually very busy here at my shop doing auto repair so this cart took all my weekends and at least 3 evenings every week for a month but we all do these projects because it's what we all like to do.

Anyway thanks again and to break up the boredom for you I added a few more pictures If the interest continues in this I'll add more pictures.

Well I finally got my Coolmate 3 hooked up to the Dynasty. Took some doing to get it all together but remember, I live on an island. My supplier kept seding me the wrong hook up stuff. Now that it's done it makes a Hugh difference now when using the thing. The torch stays cool and that's perfect. You'll notice that the Argon tank is removed in the last picture. I removed it to place back on my MM251 for the spool gun but when designing the Crazy Cart I allowed for the removal of the tank and made the spare tire so that it could move up on the back to cover the hole in the back of cart when the tank was removed. I'm really impressed with that Coolmate 3.

                      Paul,
Like everyone else, OUTSTANDING job on the cart and all your other rest work! Tank cover was excellent, I can't find that exact color match for the material over here! Was the paint # from Miller or did you just match it yourself? Question: On the top, is that a bin/tray for your tips/collets/cups?
Glad you put that spare wheel in! Saw that expansion joint on your floor, so the spare is handy if you get a flat!!!

Thanks Bert. Glad you like the cart. The tank sock was made to cover up the ugly tank. First I tried to go with a carbon fiber look but the material was over $30. a yard and I would have needed two yards to do two tanks so I said no to that idea and went on over to Wal-Mart. I bet I looked like some kind of nut case going around feeling the material but hey, I got no pride and after all this was for my Crazy Cart.

Anyway as I was looking around I came across the blue material as seen in the picture. It's like the long john's material and got the same feel to it and it stretches the same as well. When I asked the lady working there how much for a yard of it she replied "$2.49". I knew it was close to the Miller color so that's how I found the stuff. Gee I even got some left over so I might end up with Miller long john's yet Na I better not. I'd end up looking like a smurf

As for the compartment on the top. Well I had the extra space so I wanted to us it for something so now I use it to store my gloves in. The cart was never meant to turn out like it did it's just as I got into it I started coming up with different ideas. Might be the medication Thanks again. Paul

Anyone who has purchased a Miller cover for the DX200 will already know that you can't use the cover with the lines and cables hooked up to the machine making the cover only good for transporting the unit. Well I wanted to use the cover with all the gear still attached to try and keep the dust off the welder so I asked my wife to modify the cover so it would slide on over with all the lines and cables attached so that's what she did. Now the cover is much more functional in my opinion. Maybe Miller should look at this simple modification.

Someone could make herself a few extra bucks (loonies) making those covers for our welders.

I want a cover for my Millermatic 185 that covers the welder, bottle and hooked up cables, all at the same time.............

And the same thing for my Syncroweld 180SD............

Oh, BTW....Great looking cart! You obviously have a lot of time on your hands during those cold NF winters......:-)
