The rail should break and turn on a slope at the top tread nosing and should continue on a slope one step past the last step and then flatten out 12", Its hard to tell from the picture but it looks like you started the angle right off the top post.
I have a company out of OH that does all my aluminum railing on High end projects and I sell them as mine, They ship to your area also.
PM me and Ill give you any info for them, thats all they do and they are not much more than the steel rails we build but are far less maintenace.
Nice work by the way they look nice, I have a core drill for installation which is the preferred anchoring method for the malls and schools.
