Hello, I found a used Bobcat 250nt with onan engine with only 11 hours on it. The thing is basically brand new. I can buy a new 225 for $400 more, any advice, pros/cons.
Thanks

Look at the serial # to make sure it is still in warranty. If it is in warranty, I'd buy it.
Also, does the 250nt have more features than the new 225?
Millermatic Passport Plus
Millermatic 200 Millermatic 350P with Python XMT 304 /w S-64 feeder and 12VS Dynasty 300 DX Thermal Arc 400 MST
Victor O/A
Premier Power Welder for my trail junk.
The Bobcat's do hold their value very well, however, I'd spend the extra $400 for a new one. On the new Bobcat 225 versus the Bobcat 225 NT you get:
-2 gallons more fuel capacity
-Covered weld terminals and receptacles with protective armor covering the front of the machine.
-Oil change maintenance countdown indicator.
-More horsepower and more output(23 hp versus 20 hp)
-Ten degree skewed rotor for even cleaner generator power.
-Full 3 year warranty (although seldom needed on Bobcats).
I hope this helps you with your decision.
Have a great day!
