what size nickel rod do I use to weld 1/8 " cast iron

Seen your question earlier but our internet has been acting up so couldn't reply. I would use a 1/8 rod & start at about 60 amps. & do short welds. Peen with chipping hammer while waiting to run next section. Hope this helps.

don't forget to pre and post heat! Very important!!
