    Shane,
It just might be to your advantage to:
-tell us all where in the world you live or what you are close to.
-Keep your eyes open and the scrap will materialize most likely for free
-go to some of the local steel shops in your area and ask them. They are in the yllw pgs under steel, fabrication, aluminum, stainless, metal slavage, scrap metal, recycling, etc. dont forget to look out back of some of the local lumber yards and home depots.. theres usually junk there.

Chances are if you do these things, you'll have more scrap to practice on than you could ever even begin to shake a stick at.

goog luck and merry holidays... or happy xmas or whatever is politically correct now.
Will it weld? I loooove electricity!

Good thing I'm not sitting here eating or drinking anything cause the screen would be quite a mess right now.

LOL, he wouldn't have any excitement around the shop or friends stopping by to see him then.

I have some scrap but shipping would be the killer.
Surely he could find some closer to where he lives.
