Nope. They usualy give you about 2 weeks (depending on what you do with them) protection from surious injuries and then it's time for a new pair. If you wish to find out just what they do for you then take them off for a minute or two while welding.

when i run out of new gloves, i start wearing a left on the right hand (takes just a little while to get it to conform to my hand), or i cut fingers off other gloves and slip them over the burned ones. gets me thru a few more days!

actually I think they might be a small. I like the tight fit and dexterity i can get from doing so. Mind you if they were large gloves, theyve shrunk so much form the heat that m sure they are smalls by now!

I think that they are small... thinking about a swap?

Nope xtra large. My buddy was left handed and when we got new gloves at work i would take the left and he took the right one. Saved the boss a few bucks...Bob

YES and its amazing how long it takes your finger to feel the same effect, then your shaking the glove like **** trying to get it off - lol

All you need is a bandsaw, bender, welder and metal lathe and some scrap steel and you can fix about anything. My fav snow shovel broke the handle and i didn't want to drive across town to get another one. I would rather spend a little time in the shop than shoveling snow ...Bob
