So what do you guys think?
is it possible to fix the two hillbilly props? There chewed up pretty good.

I was going to see about tiggin them back up to rough shape and then sand them to a final profile. After that i could get them balanced.

I dont know, prop repair is a bit beyond what ive learned and the guy that told me they could be fixed also told me he'd have to kill me if he showed me how to do it. sooooo

Just wait till you see the block on this engine... Oi..

Glad you had a laugh. The west coast brother is full of crap and the east coast brother weaves the tallest of tales .

the moral of the story here I guess is buyer beware or in the words of a newfi,
    buyers bewares lard tunderin jeeeeezus!

or in the words of the west coast tree hungin' pot smoker (and thats what he is, he a lumberjack, faller, logger) : " now waits a sec, tthe deal was not for the baot and all the parts, it was for the boat and then maybe the parts afterwards... I dont know how you figured me telling you that you were going to get the boat and the parts for one price came into this picture, but ive changed my mind and we can make another deal later for the parts..."

uhg. Step on my head and saveyourself.......

started a topic Two Canadian Brothers

    Two Canadian Brothers

Once upon a Time there were two brothers. They lived on opposite ends of the country, but both had an avid interest in boating. Both of these men were keen on the ways of the sea and in themselves were experienced pilots. If you dare to believe that...
Strangely enough the two brothers also had the same style and make of engine on thier respective boats and both enjoyed the benefits of being able to share stories and tall tales of maritime adventures. Telling tales was something they could do very very well.

One day, the western coast brother decided it was time to sell the "old girl" and he did so. With a few cleverly worded sentences he found a buyer that was ready to take the boat away. The happy go lucky buyer was proud of his find and the challenge that was about to begin. Crabs , salmon, Prawns and cod were going to be had shortly. He could taste them all in his mind and imagination. It was just a matter of time and some determination.

Teh two brothers, must have shared a telepathic link to each other and as fate would have it the eastern brother sold his boat too. The engine was taken from the boat stripped apart and was to be sold in pieces.

The happy go lucky stranger - lets call him Rich, discoverd that the boat he bought was in need of a few minor repairs, unwittingly he wa "lucky" enough to have found the parts he needed in the east. Through repetitive attemps and searches Rich somehow found the eastern brother and struck a deal. All the parts Rich needed to complete his boat could be obtained from the eastern brother. Rich bought the lot parts and patiently waited or them to be delivered, All the while scratching his head to try and figure out how much of a deal he really got... This feeling was soemthing he felt when dealing with the western brother too.. Strange how that works.

When the parts finally arrived, Rich discovered something that really fixed the fact that these two men were really brothers...

do you know what that fact was? have a look at the photo and the truth will make itself evident.
