need stainless

having a hard time tracking down some stainless for a project that ive been wanting to do..

its not alot.. about 6 ft of 4in diameter tube and 6 ft of 4in wide flat.. thickness id like 1/16th thick

i want to make 2 "catch cans" for my truck.

i was implying if anyone knew of any internet based metal s uppliers that wouldnt be outrageously expensive for the requirements i need.

when i was looking every thing in S.S i found was IMO "outrageously expensive " , so expect to pay a good $ for it no matter where you get it. seems like all steel $'s have gone nuts.
have you looked at some of the race car suppliers for the pipe, may not be thick enough but you might be able to special order it.
you could also do a search for on-line steel suppliers. seems like a few have been mentioned in the past on the andy side. so you might try there as well.

I get all of my stainless and aluminum shapes fro Speedymetals in Wisconsin, they plasmacut anyshape also.

judging on the price.. i think the project will be made out of alumminum instead.. lol
