hey.. new guy here checkin in.. been wanted to post on the forum for while now but couldnt get my login in to work.. admin helped me out alot.
self taught welder.. mainly mig and stick....very little time on a tig torch..but understand the basics.... started welding as a hobby/automotive,,, and then became the shop welder at my work (maintenance mechanic for a hopsital).. takin a large interest in the trade and looking into it as a career,, possible boilermaking... or union fabrication.. and after reading it looks like welders are becoming harder and harder to find.. might be the right time !!!
im 25, United States Marine Corps vet, spent some time in the dirt from winter to summer of 05'.. was a bomb builder..
I bought a MillerMatic 210 a year or so ago and I LOVE IT!.. recently got myself the spoolmate gun for it and that is also a tasty treat. along with two bottles.. C25 and 100% Argon.. (started to dabble in mig alum. but its tricky and smells horible)
well,, lookin forward to picking everyones brains on here.

You are guaranteed to learn lots hear, and everyone is quite freindly. (Unless their welder is giving them trouble
